Maor is a board-certified New York
state-licensed Acupuncturist.

He graduated from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in 2018 with a Master’s Degree in Acupuncture, as well as an Associate’s Degree in Massage Therapy.
He specializes in Sports Medicine Acupuncture, Trigger Point Dry Needling and Stress Management.

Maor is passionate about helping people feel their best and uses a combination of acupuncture and manual therapy to provide specialized care to those suffering from acute and chronic injuries, as well as complex sports injuries.
His work is patient-centered and supports the patients needs through acupuncture, trigger point dry
needling, electo-acupuncture, myofascial release/manual therapy, moxibustion, gua sha and cupping.
When treating pain Maor’s approach to treatment is based not just of a patient’s symptoms but also on
the mind-body connection (stressors) that may have contributed to them.
He has taken extensive post-graduate courses under the guidance of chiropractor and acupuncturist, Dr.
Anthony Lombardi, who has been exalted for his exceptional clinical results when it comes to treating
pain conditions.
Maor was born in Israel, grew up in Belgium and has been living in NYC for almost 20 years. He is fluent in five languages. This background taught him early on to appreciate the uniqueness of individuals. And that understanding is evident in his individualized treatment plans for each of his patients.
